Would love to hear more personal stories from people here.
Hey everyone, I came across this subreddit and it made me feel like there are probably a lot of Kashmiri Pandits here, but the space is pretty quiet. I’ve always found it really meaningful how people still hold on to their roots even after being spread out in different parts of India and abroad. It would be nice if this space could be used more often to share personal stories and memories, like where families ended up after leaving Kashmir, the traditions or rituals that are still followed at home, or even small things heard from parents and grandparents growing up. And if anyone has ever gone back to the valley with family, it would be really interesting to hear what that experience felt like. Just feels like there are a lot of stories here that don’t get shared often.

Kukdu kudu ni neeru kukdu kudu, mein aa tera foji meri bugi e tun.
Something’s really wrong with these people.
What is this r/kashmiri sub even about at this point?
Saw a post literally calling the Kashmiri pandits exodus “just migration” and trying to justify targeting by labeling people as supporters, like.. what? You don’t have to agree on every label, but downplaying fear, threats, and displacement like that isn’t discussion it’s straight up distortion, cherry picking numbers, removing context, and then acting like you’ve set the narrative straight doesn’t make it truth. At this point it just feels like anything can be twisted to fit a narrative and passed off as a different perspective. If this is what passes as discussion here, then it’s not a discussion space, it’s an echo chamber. KPs weren’t outsiders, they were their own people.

Was scrolling through clan chat and saw this, a guy came back after missing war attacks and said his son got sick and he was taking care of him, so he completely forgot about the war. The clan just supported him like ofc your child comes first and it’s just a game, real life matters more.
I’m working on a startup idea around helping high school students connect with college seniors for guidance.
I actually had a few mentors, two of the mentors were from IIT Bombay, and one was from the Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS) delhi and we even ran some small batches, but over time the mentors dropped off and things slowed down. Right now I don’t have the resources to properly build it, so I’m trying to understand the space better before going all in.
For people who’ve built marketplaces, mentorship platforms, What are the biggest early-stage challenges?
How do you keep mentors engaged long-term?
How would you validate demand before investing time and money?
Any mistakes I should avoid?
Would really appreciate honest insights.
MARCOS combat divers training underwater with closed circuit rebreathers, possibly focusing on covert movement and navigation.
Pretty sure this caption is misleading. The unit mentioned is 2nd Battalion and 1st Special Forces Group belongs to the US Army not India. The location, Joint Base Lewis Mc chord, is also in the US. Looks like standard helo casting training, I couldn’t find any confirmation of Indian special forces being involved.
Last edit on Dev d, mmmm, okay maybe second last.
