got a G2 Max last week, some surprises and a couple things I am not sure are normal

Picked up the G2 Max about 8 days ago after going back and forth between this and the G3 for like a month. Riding it daily for commuting, around 12 km each way, mix of bike paths and broken city tarmac.

Things I did not expect:

  • The cruise control kicks in fast, sometimes when I am just easing off briefly
  • Front suspension is way better than I thought it would be at this price
  • Build feels solid, no rattles after the first couple of days

A couple things I would love a veteran owner's take on:

  • The brake noise on harder stops, normal break in or worth checking the pads early?
  • Battery dropped to about 60 percent after 20 km on hill mode, is that in line with what you see?

Loving it so far overall, just want to make sure I am not missing anything obvious.

This might be a small thing, but I’m trying to boo͏k a short trip and getting stuck on the hotel part.

Every time I start looking, I end up with a bunch of tabs open and the same place showing different prices depending on where I check. It’s hard to tell what the actual rate even is.

I keep seeing mixed advice about using an online travel agent vs just comparing boo͏king sites. I’ve been flipping between a few (Super. com, Booking, etc.) and it’s just making it more confusing. At this point I just want to book something without overthinking it or feeling like I missed a better option. What’s been less hassle for you when it comes to this? Plz help me out in this !

Our place near Flamingo Park took some water damage last season and honestly it became the push we needed to finally redo the whole interior. Looking for a solid team that handles full home remodeling in West Palm Beach. We want something that looks nice, so if anyone has used a crew that does luxury home remodeling in West Palm Beach or even home remodeling in Palm Beach County, drop their name. Tired of getting flaky callbacks.
