I’m a teacher moving into the area this summer. I am trying to apply for jobs at the high school and public schools in the area. I’m getting nervous I won’t get one. When does hiring typically slow down? Do they hire all summer long? Should I be worried?

Also, any high schools to avoid would be helpful :)

It's all but inevitable at this point...

What my question is, what happens to the train once they do go bankrupt?

I wonder if another buyer comes in or if it's just trashed

Does anybody know any upscale lounges in West Palm or Palm Beach that have a similar vibe to Harry's in the 360 Rosemary building?

Any updates on what's going on with the Sears space? Apparently there have been talks about Dick's House of Sport moving in but I'm guessing those plans derailed?

Is it still sitting empty atm? I may have heard a rumor about something else happening there soon but I don't want to get the rumor mill going.

Free GPS Tracking Watches for People with Alzheimer's (State-Funded)

I work for a charity in Palm Beach and they have state funding to give free GPS tracking watches to anyone with Alzheimer's / dementia or similar cognitive illness.

Sadly, many people with Alzheimer's go missing every year and pass away after wandering in to danger or drownng.

The watches alert you when your loved one leaves the house, allow you to call and track them from your phone, and come with a free (optional) locking strap so you can keep it on their wrist.

It's 100% free to you as a caregiver, with no cost whatsoever and is fully funded by the state.

For now, you have to live in palm beach, martin or st. lucie county to qualify.

Sharing this because it's an incredible free resource for stressed caregivers and I want as many people as possible to benefit from.
