Hey all, I'll be traveling with my family to shanghai, beijing, and chongqing late this month. I have booked the west air flight from shanghai to chongqing, and china southern airlines from Chongqing to Beijing. My only concern is regarding seat selection as I booked through trip.com and on either of their websites it says I am only able to select seats when check in opens.

Generally, with airlines I've flown before there was atleast an option to prebook seats for a fee but I don't see it here. Is there a way to do this or will we get seats automatically assigned later on as we would prefer to be seated close to each other. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey guys, me and my family will be travelling to China soon and we decided to book Business class in Air India owing to its good flight timings and direct flight. Now I know air india has pretty bad reviews when it comes to long haul aircrafts and my expectations are pretty low but if anyone has experience with this particular flight it would be quite helpful.

So one of the strings on my guitar broke, and over time the others have gotten quite rusty as well, I've never changed strings before so I'm not really sure what type of strings to get or from where. Would appreciate any help!

Hey guys, I'll be travelling to shanghai-chongqing-beijing and then back to shanghai for my return flight. I've done some research and it seems like shanghai-chongqing and chongqing to beijing is better off by flights and beijing to shanghai can be done by train as for the other two cities the train travel time is quite a lot. Is this the correct way to go forward or is there something better?

Also, where and when should I go about booking train tickets for my trip in mid-end May.
