When running Caanok Var, which Terminator unit do you run with him as his Bodyguard and which Detachment have you had the most success with him? Appreciate the feedback.

When you run Lysander, which Terminator unit do you run as his Bodyguard unit and which Detachment have you had the most success with using him? Appreciate all of the help.

Been play testing new ideas and combos for my Army and I found a good one I've had success with. Combo is:

Apothecary Biologis w/Hunters Eye Enhancement

10-man Heavy Intercessor Squad w/2x Hvy Bolters

Play tested 5 games with this so far and to be blunt, it is a lot more effective than I expected and it gives me a good unit to provide much needes Fire Support with their 30 inch ranged Heavy Bolt Rifles and the 36 inch ranged Heavy Bolters. Use them to march and take one of the Objectives to make use of their Ability and they're good against pretty much anything thanks to having Lethal and Sustained Hits that ignore Cover. Combos well with our Outriders and any other Close Combat units in the Spearpoint Detachment that is hard to shift.

At a glance, Grey Hunters seem to be a great choice as they can Advance and Shoot with their Bolters and depending on which Detachment, they can have S5 if running Firestorm or beable to Charge if running Stormlance. What success have you had with him and which bodyguard unit did you use?

Is he worth his points to out in a Squad of Deathwing Knights or would it be better to run them with a different HQ unit?

Working on a fun Project where I plan to make White Scars versions of named Characters of other Chapters so I can run them in games going forward and to satisfy my creative urge at the same time. Was considering this model as a base to make a few of them, but woukd the Tassles in the front of the Armor work with White Scars? Or woukd I be better off trimming them off and utilizing something else?

I do believe we will be getting a new Pedro Kantor model here soon which will be great. However, the one question I have about it is will it be an upscale model similar to his current one, a new model as a Primaris, or will he become another Gravis Character which is very possible imo.

Pro: Looks like more Flexibility and Creative List building is back for 11th Edition.

Con: Outside of Battleline Units, we are still only limited to 3x of Non-Battleline units at 2000 Points.

Hopefully there will be options or Detachments that can help units like Outriders gain the Battleline Keyword.

Planning to run a Land Raider Redeemer in my Firestorm list and I am currently debating between which unit to put in my Land Raider Redeemer. Strongly leaning towards the Gravis Captain with Aggressors for obvious reasons, but is there an argument for a Captain + Apothecary with a 10-man Squad of Infernus Marine for the potential more shots?

Has anyone tried out the combo of a Brutalis Dreadnough in either the Stormlance or Spearpoint Detachments? Like the model and the CC potential it brings can be very useful but is it worth the points or would I be better off with Redemptors?

Is anyone else looking forward to what the new SM Ceramite Sentinels Detachment will be? I am honestly intrigued as the idea of a Detachment of Dreadnoughts sounds cool to me and while it may not be lore friendly, I still think White Scars Dreadnoughts look cool on the tabletop and I think it could be a good combo with Hvy Intercessors and Subodens unit of Outriders to go with multiple Dreadnoughts.
