When to buy re-sale tickets?

I’m considering making offers of 70/80 quid on single tickets already up for sale but also conscious they could do down even further by this time next week.
Do I hold? Or offer?

I turn 40 in 18 months and after a period of denial I now am looking to use this as an opportunity to, as cliché, as it sounds start a new chapter of my life.
My hobbies at the moment all involve watching other people do things, going to concerts, football matches, etc
I feel I should be doing something now. Learning the guitar, running a marathon, learn to ride a motorcycle… something milestone-esque.
Looking for inspiration and stories from people who are or have been in a similar situation.

Edit: I work full time and have two kids so stuff like going travelling for 6 months etc is out for now.

Hi, apologies if this is against the rules.
My friend, let’s call him, Mr Thompson, hypothetically bought a jailbroken fire stick this week.
He watched TNT Sports Live absolutely fine and has watched series and movies and other non live stuff fine. However he tried to watch the football on Sky Sports this evening and it kept buffering to the point it just didn’t work.
Is this because many people were likely watching it? Or an issue with my ‘friend‘s’ internet? Or do Sky have some kind of way to stop it being watched via the seven seas? As up until now it has been fine.

Loads of tickets being put up for sale the last week or so. Bodes well for my plan of grabbing one for 20 quid the day before 🤞
