I just moved to Chicago and I’m trying to get a real feel for the startup and builder scene here.

I’m working in AI and automation for service-based businesses, but more than anything I’m just looking to meet people who are actually building things or running companies, not just talking about it online.

I’m not really looking for anything formal or pitchy. I’d just love to know where people actually go, coworking spaces, coffee shops, meetups, or even small communities that feel real and not overly corporate.

Still getting settled here, so any direction would genuinely help. And I’m always open to connecting with other builders too.
