Hi, I just thought I'd ask this community what you think of the Q, whether you still enjoy it, and what issues you've had with it. I have always had Fujis but have lately been seduced by the idea of the Q and a used model is the most I could afford (would love a Q2 or 3 but that's out of my range). I mainly shoot street photography and am looking for an upgrade from my Fuji XT-3, or at least a companion to it. I like the idea of the fixed lens because I want something i can just grab and go with. From what I've seen testing it, the lens quality is superb. I don't know if I should make the leap (could also go with the much hyped Fuji X100v which is also a fixed lens camera) but something in me wants to go for the luxury experience of the Leica. However, not if it has a lot of problems. I'm worried about maintenance, and what happens if something goes wrong with the lens, and then the entire camera has to go to the shop. Any experiences you have, good or bad, would be most appreciated! Thanks!

Hi, I started my fuji line with an XE3 and have been mostly using my XT-3 for a couple of years. I love it but I'm looking for an upgrade. I mostly shoot street photography. I've been seduced by the hype around the x100v, but feel like they're way over priced. However, I do like the idea of a fixed lens so I have less to think about and can just grab it and go. I'd also like a couple of the simulations, which my XT-3 doesn't have.

But I also like the XE5, especially with the pancake 23 mm lens because it feels like an x100v with the versatility of interchangeable lenses.

I could also upgrade to an XT5 but I honestly worry about the huge increase in megapixels crashing my Mac and my Lightroom. (Does this happen? Maybe I'm worrying for nothing.) The other camera I'm considering is a Leica Q because it's also a fixed lens camera and has superb lens sharpness. I have no experience shooting with a Leica and this would be a one off, since I plan to stick mainly with fuji cameras. But there's the cost.

Can anyone give me their opinion/experience about any or all of these cameras? Much appreciated!! The decision--or indecision--is driving me nuts.
