A typo makes it into a published book. Is it the writer's fault for writing it, the editor's fault for missing it, both, or none?

Seeing a mix of opinions on this, and wondering what writers think. The writer wrote the story and made the typo. The editor's job is to help scrub for and fix errors. Most books have typos every few thousands words which is expected, so is it acceptable to shrug and carry on?

Audio book series as 3 individual books or as a giant all-in-one marathon compendium?

I heard Audible readers in particular like to spend their credits on very large books to get more bang for their buck, but I am not sure if book series get treated the same.

Insight anyone?

I live in Vancouver. It rains 10 months of the year. Requirement for a car is that it basically be aquatic. So here I am with a 2026 i4 with a sunroof. Dumb, right? Until I realize it opens not just the sunshade, but also the sunroof. And not only does it open... it's actually large! I'm a tall-ish 50kg human, but I could easily fit three of me in it and still not have to struggle to pull myself out. New safety feature unlocked!

I don't have a sunroof, I have an emergency evacuation hatch in case my car has the sudden urge to become a submarine.

This is my very first car (at 40). Criteria was an EV under 5000mm long with decent trunk space, door handles that work in a total power loss, and sedan-shaped. I didn't have a lot of options and budget wasn't a problem when the only other car to meet my restrictions was a Porsche Taycan Cross Tourismo. Made justifying the M60 upgrade easier, especially since I love the look (but I didn't really understand at the time that it was such an overpowered sports car.)

Given the above, say hello to my mid-life crisis car. Front and rear spoilers are part of the 2026 I4 extras kit. The stripes are not. Because I have zero experience (or taste) with vehicles, what should I know that seems obvious? Drive mode preferences? Charging nightmares? Any pluses or minuses for Canadians?
