I just watched a YT video called ”the problem with ground news” and it raised alot of questions. The argument that made me reconsider if Ground news is trustworthy was that apparently Ground news is pretty secretive about where they get there funding from and even when there specifically asked they just answer with ”we are backed by a handful of mission-alinged independent induvidual investors, with no ties to corporate media, big tech, or government affiliations”. This sure sounds good but its a pretty vague answer considering there business idea is exposing where news organisations get there funding from. And considering how many big Youtubers there sponsoring there funding must be alot. The video also brought up a bunch of other problems with Ground news like pirating and AI but this is the argument/problem that stood out the most to me. Whats your thoughts on this and does anyone else have any info on Ground News.
