I don't think it's mites after further investigation (see previous post for context) but I will treat it as such 💁🏻 Better safe than sorry. Noah is not happy

I'm picking them up on SUNDAY and I still don't know what to name them! Helpppp!

For the black coated baby I'm almost certain on Corax or Nero. But I SOOOO want something silly for the other one! Something like Sock, Table, Glitter, Helicopter. Just something weird or silly! Preferably a word that means something weird or silly, but isn't way to obvious! Please help me out!

My new rats got mites 3 days before moving to me 🤦🏻

Okay, I might have overreacted, my boys hasn't gotten mites. Atleast not yet. But one of their cagemates has! The breeder texted me just now asking if I still want them in 3 days, or if i wanna wait, I asked some questions then said yes. It's not a issue really and she's gonna send some prescribed medication with them just in case. We decided I will treat them for a bit after I get them home as a precaution, even if they aren't showing signs.

As I said this is not a problem, but why does these kinda things always happen to me? 🤦🏻

Twisted my ankle 2 days ago, should I seek medical attention?

I twisted my ankle 2 days ago while on a swing with my sister. It got stuck under the swing as it kept swinging in the other direction and I was convinced I broke it at the moment it happened. It didn't hurt much the following 10 - 20 minutes but got a lot worse after that, and I can't stand on it without a burning sensation going up to my knee from my ankle and it hurting so bad that I have to hold back tears

Can rats sense pain in humans?

Now, I know rats can feel empathy. But can they sense pain? My rat Derpy never been the type of rat to lick me, but ever since I hurt my ankle/foot he has been walking up to my foot and licking it every chance he gets. Is it just random, or can he actually sense that it hurts?

I weighted the boys yesterday, any guesses?

For guidance: They were 555g and 482g last time, and that was in early January.
