I'm 99.9% certain that it is. It is also telling me to follow a sketchy link to make payment before the end of this week.

My real question is this: how would I be contacted if I did have a legit traffic violation from a speed camera or other traffic enforcement mechanism which doesn't require me being face-to-face with a cop who is giving me a physical ticket?

I have been living with two members of my extended family for the last 5 years. I explained last Friday how their transphobia and refusal to respect my boundaries has deeply hurt me and has lead me to move out of their home- their response to what I told them amounted to "ok, bye!"

No apologies nor any acknowledgement of the behavior that I was describing that hurt me- not even the typical lie that they tell me where they claim that they are trying to learn and change.

These people claimed to love me.

This has been a clarifying experience at the very least. I spent so much emotional energy trying to help them understand my experience as a transgender person- I fully believed that I could change their minds. In retrospect, I am most shocked by own willingness be vulnerable with them over and over again despite the awful way they were treating me every single time.

I really thought that I could talk them into treating me with respect and kindness.
