I just secured my mum a Puddlesea for my mum’s birthday 🎂 they are all still available as of 10:20am UK time.

Sorry huge rant here. I have no idea who’s in the wrong for this but yesterday I ordered a pair of jeans from Next. I requested it to be delivered tomorrow, Monday.

Usually my delivery preference is completely ignored and my items get delivered the next day. Today, I had no emails so I thought I was going to get my said jeans tomorrow. I get comfy in my bed.

My phone buzzes ‘Your Next delivery has been received and will be delivered between 8-9pm today’.

Fantastic. So I thought even though it wasn’t ideal, I’d wait downstairs as I live in an area where parcels aren’t safe if left especially overnight.

I wait. 9:50pm I get a notification saying my parcel had been delivered. I heard no knock but assumed it was because it was late and the driver was at least being courteous.

I check the proof of delivery and saw the parcel had been left in an unrecognisable place, all I could go on was a gutter and a hedge.

So off I look around my thankfully small neighbourhood but the doors or gutter placements didn’t match the photo.

I start to panic as it was late at night and so I went back indoors and left poor feedback because even if I found the parcel, it was late and incorrectly delivered.

I double checked the photo and was able to find the GPS codes. It lead me next door. I was a bit nervous as they were up but it was still late.

Alas, I opened their gate as it was a tall one and my parcel was behind the gate! I still told my neighbours so they didn’t think I was stealing off them!

So yay I have my jeans but still a bit annoyed that my delivery dates were ignored.

Apologies for the rant but I just wanted to grumble. I am a 90 year old in a 29 year old body lol.

Edit: the jean’s didn’t even fit 🫠
