I have quilon, greasy and waxy - is Buckingham like quilon?

I’m headed to London soon, along with these Chelsea’s.

Is wonder balsam all the waterproofing they’ll need? I applied a good coat and water is beading up/rolling off - so guessing I’ll be ok - thoughts?

I have an early iteration of the Spacedeck that I picked up second hand from the shop that originally sold it - a shop that I frequent. I’m guessing it’s from the early 2000’s.

I started with the Horizon SE, and traded up for the Spacedeck.

It was barely used prior to my receiving it, and has been taken care of - I’m sure it still has many years left in it.

I don’t need to upgrade, but an Ace is calling me - Hyperspace is out of reach unfortunately.

I know there are differences in platter weight and bearing composition - the Ace also ships with a 10” Ace tonearm. Any thoughts from current Ace owners?

edit: running a Sutherland Insight through either an old Cary SLI 80 or Yamaha A-S2200. Klipsch Cornwalls, too - so if there *is* an improvement, I should be able to hear it.
