just switched away from honey, here is what i have actually noticed after a few weeks with coupert
finally uninstalled honey a few weeks ago. i know plenty of people shrugged off the drama but the affiliate link thing bothered me once i understood what was actually happening.
a friend suggested coupert so i gave it a proper trial across a few different types of purchases. week one it was quiet, found nothing on two amazon checkouts which was not surprising. week two it caught a code on a clothing site i had never heard it work on before, took about 8% off a jacket i was already buying. week three nothing again on a couple of grocery delivery attempts. then on a tech accessories order it tested codes automatically in the background and one landed, saved me around $12.
the cashback feature is there and i have activated it a few times but nothing has come through yet. based on what i read that can take a bit. honestly the experience has been uneven but it has not annoyed me which is more than i can say for some others i briefly tried. anyone else made the switch recently and noticed anything specific about where it works better or worse?
comment: went through the same thing around the same time. what i noticed is that coupert seems to do better on brand sites than on marketplaces. got a working code on the levi's site directly that would not have applied on a third party listing. still early for me to have a strong opinion overall but that pattern has held across a few purchases so far.
