Question for serious NFL fans.

I watch a lot of football. I ( will ) have Sunday ticket. I watch all day Sunday, every Sunday, including SNF. I watch MNF as well as TNF. I watch the international games too. ( yes I get up early on those Sundays. )
This year I’ll have a new OLED TV and a 5.1 surround sound system. I’m jazzed!!
So now the question: How good is the sound on YTTV when watching live?

2 month old dual zone 18K suddenly can’t keep up.

I’ve had my Costway 18k mini split a couple of months now. A few weeks ago we had temps up and over 105° here and the mini split did just what it should. Now the last 2 days above 90° it just can’t seem to keep up. This morning I did the hand in front of the vent test and air felt as cold as it’s been but once the unit starts falling behind the same test has a slightly warmer air. Still very cool but not really cold. Checked the evaporators and don’t see any ice. Checked the app and inside temperature is showing warmer than set temperature by 2 to 3 degrees. As an experiment I’ve turned the set point down another 3 degrees to see if that changes anything.
What else can I check?

I have a month old C5 & a LG S55TR. When I first set this up it was setup is WOWOrcastra and I needed to have volume at or above 40 but my wife could hear an echo because of the built in speakers so I switched to standard useing the sound bar only and only needed the between 25 & 30. Now all of a sudden, even on standard, volume is back up around 40. I guess it doesn’t matter but any idea why this would happen?

We are retired and on a limited budget but we watch a lot of TV.
We recently upgraded from a 4K LED LG TV and basic 2.0 sound bar to a LG C5 & a LG S55TR. The sound bar is definitely an entry level device but a big improvement over the generic sound bar.
We watch DVR versions of network TV shows & lots of old TV series. I watch an obscene amount of football. Really looking forward to football season ( NFL )
Not all networks make good use of 5.1 surround sound and lots of the older stuff we watch are only in stereo so the sound bar doesn’t get fully used that much.
Network TV is 1080p but some of the older shows are pre-1080 but the C5 does a great job with all of it.
We spent more than we should have on the TV ( I really love the TV though ) and kinda “skimped” on the sound bar but it’s not really getting used that much so it’s working out.

So since I’ve upgraded my home TV/sound I’m paying more attention to movies etc.
I’ve read on a couple forums that physical media is dying but I also read that physical media is the best quality of video &/or audio.

So I have to wonder where are you getting quality movies to show on your home theater?

I’ve recently upgraded my TV and sound system and since I’m on a budget looking for inexpensive movies that provide a decent surround sound experience. I noticed, in my searches, Saving Private Ryan is on P+ but some say the sound quality is a bit lacking. Seems odd. Has anyone watched it? How was the sound? What tier did you have? I have the military discount so cheapest plan. I can buy the Blu-ray or get it on Apple TV for $3.99 but since it’s included with my subscription on P+ figured I check it out here first.
Thanks

Looking for a little help.
We don’t watch many Blu-Rays or DVDs but do have a basic player. Our previous LG TV only had 2 HDMI ports so never got around to connecting the Blu-Ray player. Our new C5 has 4 HDMI ports do connecting the Blu-Ray was convenient.
Today, finally, decided to see how Blu-Rays looked and sounded on the C5.
When the disc is actually playing it looks and sounds great. The problem is the picture/sound is constantly coming & going.
I’ve looked through the settings and don’t really see any settings that are port specific other than universal control settings. I’d rather not do any global changes that would cause problems with my Apple TV or sound bar.
I know the “go to” first step is to try switching the HDMI cable but unfortunately that’s not really an option. ( the cable is run through the wall & floor across the room ) The HDMI cable is 8 years old and hasn’t been used in 2 years but I’d like to eliminate everything else before I get all carried away with big equipment changes first.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Note: I no longer have the magic remote and don’t know how to tell HDMI 3 not to use universal control settings. Nothing Google says to do is available.

I'm 73 and just tech savvy enough to get by. We live in an RV setup perminatly. We are retired and living on a limited income. A couple of years ago we bought a LG LED 4K TV at Walmart. because the picture was better than the TCL TV that came with the RV. What we really wanted was an OLED but the price was just way more than we could swing. I just couldn't like WebOS so bought our first Apple TV 4K. I'm a bit hard of hearing so, because the speakers in todays TV suck, I sprung for a very basic 2.0 sound bar. I wasn't sure how much a sound bar would help.

Fast forward to present day. Finally decided to pull out a credit card and upgrade our TV. We found a decent price on a 48" LG C5. I really wanted to get a better sound bar but budget was limited, after buying the new TV so I bought a refurbished LG S55TR.

The C5 is amazing, the S55TR is a vast improvement over my old sound bar. Getting the system setup and configured has taken a bit but I think it's finally there.

Finding movies and such in 4K with the kind of picture our C5 is made for has not been difficult but finding good 5.1 content has been a bit more challenging. The movies, I've found with good surround sound require a higher tier subscription than the basic tier we can afford. TV shows in 5.1 are a bit of a mixed bag.

The day I first setup the TV and sound bar we made a movie night of it. We bought the Avatar on Apple TV +, bought chips and dip and settled in for a 3 hour movie theater experience , LOL. The picture was amazing, the move was pretty good ( It's a sequel after all ) but while there was some decent surround sound not what I was hoping. Last night, after looking for surround sound movies that we part of my Prime subscription we stumbled across "The tomorrow war" We were pleasantly surprised it was a pretty good move, quality picture and the best use of surround sound we come across so far.

All in all we are really enjoying our new system and I'm really, even more than usual, looking forward to football season.

I’m struggling to get my arms around this. I’ve recently upgraded my TV & sound system. I have an Apple TV 4K ( Gen3 ) connected to my new LG C5 which is connected to my new LG S55TR.

Last night we watched Chicago Med/Fire/PD and never heard anything from my rear speakers or sub.

What I’ve tested:

  1. Used the switch rear speakers function in the LG app and got the audio verification that the speakers switched ( sound comes from rear speakers).

Interesting that a few nights ago we watched Law & Order and had plenty of surround sound.

So, what kind of sound are you guys getting from the Chicagos?

What could be going on with my setup?

***** Update: Turns out the programs ( The Chicagos ) just don’t have much surround sound. My system is working just fine.

Thanks
