I was intrigued when i saw an old "wall of bands" image with the likes of Dreamtale, Iron Saviour, Dionysus, Rata Blanca, and Dragonland, and thought "damn, i know these, but these bands are pretty niche nowadays". I also saw Altaria, Sacred Steel and a miriad of other bands i had never heard of. (link)

So the thought just entered my brain: What bands havent survived the tests of time? People that were around in the 90s and 2000s, what bands were discussed heavily back then but not so much now?
