Is LinkedIn relevant in any way today?

When i left the army (2014), we did a workshop to help with transitioning to civilian life and it **really** emphasized work opportunities being found via LinkedIn. This was back when LinkedIn was new. Is keeping an up to date linkedIn account as a social worker even relevant anymore?

I love reading the r/LinkedInLunatics memes

Does that website even offer anything for this type of work field anymore?

Do people even check people LinkedIn anymore?

Yall put me onto these pizzas and these are incredible

I dont see why I'd ever spend an arm or a leg to order pizza again. The closest pizza deal ive seen come to this is Papa Johns $10.99 carry out deal. But its not offered everyday and this can sit in your fridge for a while.

where do you find a BSW job posting? I can only find LCSW level postings

Houston, Texas

I am in the process of going to school for BSW with the VR&E program thru the VA. Part of these intial steps i have to provide 3 job postings to my councelor job a job i could theoretically apply for after completing this program.

my issue is that 99% of posts ive read on google/Indeed/ZipRecruiter are for MSW level, LCSW.

i have no issue continuing education for a MSW. Its just i have to do this first, and i cannot find anything.

The only non LCSW posting are for people who have zero education.

When i search, i used keyword "social worker" and sort by entry level.

Maybe im looking in the wrong place? Job market **that** bad?

There does seem to be many opportunities for LCSW in my area, so thats promising.

Any help will be appreicated.

Is this true?

I was a medic. Going to become RN. Developed schizophrenia. Years later of treatment, going back to school to become social worker.

I read a comment that said it, but i cannot confirm the legitimacy of this claim.

It would be very helpful to me is true.

My DAW is Bitwig. It has an array of claps, but of the best sounding, people still tell me the clap sounds very artificial.

Im making indie sounding rock, and it uses claps like in the song Ho Hey - The Lumineers.

What do you recommend for a more natural sounding clap?
