Need a junk removal company that won't rip me off - Houston

finally getting around to cleaning out our garage and holy crap we have accumulated so much stuff over the years. We've been in our house in spring branch for about 8 years and I think we just kept shoving things in there and closing the door lol. Old furniture, a broken treadmill, boxes of god knows what, a tv from like 2014 that weighs 900 pounds... you get the idea.

My wife wants it done before her parents visit next month (of course) so now it's suddenly urgent. I looked into renting a dumpster but honestly I don't want to deal with loading everything ourselves in this heat and also I'm pretty sure our HOA would lose their minds if I put a dumpster in the driveway.

Has anyone used a junk removal service in houston that was actually decent and didn't charge a crazy amount? I've seen a few on google but the reviews are all over the place and I can't tell what's legit anymore. Ideally someone who can just show up and take everything in one trip.

Also is this the kind of thing where I should get multiple quotes or does everyone pretty much charge the same? No clue how this works lol

Montrose used to be safe enough for me to fall asleep in a local ditch, what happened?

I used to be able to pass out in the ditches without getting the 5-0 called on me? When did this neighborhood change? Is it due to all the yuppies moving in over the past 15 years?

My neighborhood doesn’t want people calling the police on locals like me just because I passed out in my favorite ditch! Must be those people from South Houston and Sunny Side gentrifying my local community.

my boss told me to plan our 150 person houston corporate party, but gave me zero extra pay and a tiny budget.

i work as a regular office admin in houston. last week, the ceo dumped the entire company holiday party on my desk. i have to find a venue for 150 people, figure out the food, the drinks, and the music. my normal workload hasn't changed, so i am supposed to just magically plan a massive event during my lunch breaks. to make it worse, the budget they gave me is ridiculously small for this city. i feel so taken advantage of. how do i pull this off without working free overtime?

Absolutely furious

Unless the gym instructor who touched me as a child has started advertising, this is a patently false claim. You'll be hearing from the Texas Hammer

Saw this sign in a parking lot. Not sure what a Freak Nasty Foam Party is, but it sounds like the CDC and FEMA should be monitoring it.

Does anyone know the lore behind this building off Hempstead and Clay, the one right beside the Burger King?
