"The Duchess"

"The Duchess"

2025 Fender Player II Series Telecaster in British Racing Green. I went with a tortoise shell guard and green abalone Qparts knobs. Sounds great and looks classy.

Telecaster Twins

These two Ensenada builds are separated by 22 years. Agave Blue is an 2003 and the British Racing Green is a 2025. Both sound and feel amazing.

Epiphone E-Series "Super Extreme" Explorer

Found this on a job site, owner said it came with the house and he used it to prop open his basement bulkhead. Gave him 50$ for his sparkly door prop and fixed the lift arm on his door. Think I did ok? Did a little research. The E-Series was only produced for about 18 months. This one has the license Floyd rose trem and locking nut with 24 frets. It's nothing valuable but gotta love finding literal gold in a basement right?!

Shot on a pixel 2 XL + snapseed for editing

I was on a small boat for this one. Getting the timing right with the ripples and the wind shift was a little bit tough. I was expirmenting with an old phone to use as a back up in a pinch. Think it came out alright.

Experimenting with an old Pixel 2 XL and Snapseed. This shot took forever to catch. Ducks kept disturbing the water. I know this isn't hi-res by today's standards but I enjoy the "paint" quality you get with this type of low light digital grain.

Sent this off to Fender Guitars today. Hopefully I get confirmation. Below is the cover letter for the dossier.

To the Fender Archival Team,

Note to Consumer Relations: Please escalate and forward this archival dossier directly to the Fender Historian/Archival Team for review.

Attached is a 30-page technical forensic dossier regarding a 2003 Fender Telecaster (Serial Number: MZ3102903) in Agave Blue Metallic. As the original owner since 2004, I have conducted an extensive investigation to document this instrument’s specific role within the 2003 Ensenada Engineering Evaluation Sample (EES) run.

Formal Request for Determination of Status

I am requesting a formal review of this dossier to establish the instrument's historical standing. Specifically, I seek:

- Verification of Authenticity: Confirmation that the "G-Cell" markings, physical date stamps, and American-specification electronics are factory-original to the September 2003 production window.

- Letter of Provenance: A cross-reference with internal manufacturing logs to acknowledge this instrument as a pre-production EES benchmark.

Summary of Findings

The attached documentation details unique hardware architecture consistent with the late 2003 EES window, including:

- Manufacturing Timeline: Internal physical stamp date of September 29, 2003.

- Station Identifiers: Documentation of "G-Cell" markings and bridge-plate identifiers correlating to the bench of Lorena Gudiño.

- Component Specification: Factory-installed American-spec electronics and bridge metallurgy consistent with pre-production standards.

Archive Publication and Legacy

As part of the Azulita Archive’s mission to document transition-era Ensenada craftsmanship, I am finalizing this dossier for public release. I wish to include Fender’s official determination to ensure corporate accuracy and to provide the original artisans with proper historical credit.

Archival Contribution and Commendation

I formally offer this research to Fender as a permanent reference for your internal historical database. Furthermore, if company policy allows, I would be honored if you could share this dossier with Ms. Gudiño to convey my personal gratitude for her craftsmanship.

Thank you for your time and review. I look forward to your professional determination.

Respectfully,

Owner & Conservator, The Azulita Archive

Tomorrow morning I'll be sending off the dossier to have Fender authenticate my 2003 Fender Telecaster (MIM) as an engineering evaluation sample. A precursor to the Baja classic player series released in 2006. I'll keep you guys updated once I hear back from Fender.

On a side note, Azulita is the name of the telecaster and the namesake of this channel. As things progress, I will be posting to my other socials as well as here regarding the process before communicating with Fender.

Transition era 1985 electric organ. One of the first electric organ models to begin incorporating digital components such as a midi port. Also features a genuine Leslie rotary speaker cabinet built into it along with two subwoofers. I use this as the main amplifier in my home studio.

I inherited this organ from my great-grandmother and there's not one day where I don't play my guitar through it. There's still a ring on the top of it from where she used to place her Scotch glass.

Along with this photo are images of the original owner's manual. I included one page where my great-grandmother had written the date and the price that she paid for it in 1985. I thought that was pretty neat. If anyone has any information on these or how to service them, feel free to reach out. I would love to know more about this.
