So i got myself a new guitar!

I guess it’s like having kids. You don’t plan for it but it’s kinda cool when i happens (however it’s a bi*ch standing up while she’s giving birth unless you have super comfy shoes) and like 20% of the time you don’t regret it all that much.

Anyways, I’ve been on the hunt for a H/H strat and was targeting Tyler, Suhr, Xotic and so on . Then this bad boy turned up.

It’s a Tom Anderson Drop Top Fire Wakesurf.

Even taper neck with Jumbo frets. HC1 and HC2 pickups.

25 1/2 scale length.

Baked maple neck, alder body with a flamed maple top.

It weighs in at 6,7 pounds/ 3,1 kg.

Is it understated - nope, but I’m a happy camper.

Yesterday, as the sun was setting, a final ray of light beamed through the window and lit up my Carvin Cherry Burst DC127 with the triple-step staining process.
