Im going for a "fieldguide meets modernism" style, and tryna branch out. How am I doing, what could I add or do differently?

First one is more my usual style, second one is a more expiramental direction Im just now trying

Artists, how do you go about selling art?

Title says it all, basically.

I want to get my art out there, and Im at the point where Im sitting on just a bunch of finished pieces that Im doing nothing with.

I dont know how to begin selling locally, who to reach out to, etc, so I was hoping someone could drop somw advice here.

I know Tate Coffee hosts art, but idk how to reach out to them about that or if its open to local artists v college students

Please, please, please despite all good intentions you might feel, never ever give money to people at the pumps of gas station money. Not once in my entire career have I seen this happen and that money not just been pocketed while those asking just drive off, and today I had an aggressive begger getting in peoples faces while his wife came in and stole loads of candy, and again not getting gas.

Dont reward these people, nor waste your money on them. We have means of helping those who cant afford gas or cant otherwise pay for it, you are being scammed.

Pardon the jerky movements, paper is stupid thin and copics are already scary bleedy enough

Ive been in an awful slump lately, feeling discourafed and lost. I want to take my art to the next level, but dont know where to start.

Im going for a ukiyo-e, minimalist, modern art feel, but Ibfeel like somethings limited, or maybe Im nust down on my own work and burnt out.

Heres a selection of my more recents:

I dont know how to take any of my work to the next level or make them feel complete or less redundant, while at the same time stylistically compatable.

So I took to my sketchbook and jotted this.

Is it a direction I want to go in?

Idk. Ive always hated coloring beyond small embelishments, having either no understanding of it, not liking my pieces when colored, or just ruining them entirely, but I feel like Ive used minimalism as a crutch.
