Dev Log: Day 1 of making a game inspired by Kingdom.

I'm new to this whole thing, so I'm just learning along as I go :)

Can't make any promises when the game might release, I'm a busy guy.

This is a rather ambitious project. I'm gonna be working on the backgrounds, and unit designs.

So, I'm writing a one-shot. My first Harry Potter fic.

This is the opening for context:

"When the year 1998 first opened its newborn to worldwide cheers and firelit night skies, an unforeseen event blanketed the entire world. The next morning, every Muggle in the world woke up with the gift of magic."

"The months that followed were nothing but pure, unbridled chaos. It was as if the rapture had made its early visit. Until the Wizarding World decided to break their centuries-old secrecy and step in before the world ended."

Okay, so here's what happens in this one-shot.

Fast forward to the year 2024. Harry is in law enforcement and is working alongside the DEA in chasing down a high-ranking sicario from a powerful Mexican drug cartel, who has been smuggling tons of their product into Europe using magic.

Chase happens, they use flying cars instead of brooms. They switch between their wands, to their secondary: guns, every now and then.

Oh, Lily is alive btw, and she's married to Snape, who is also alive. Harry is married to Luna, and one of their kids get upset that he'll be late to her recital because of work.

So, I have this rather ambitious idea for a boxing game on Scratch. I'm working on the sprites.

The game will be in 2D, but despite this, I will be implementing accurate boxing mechanics to make it feel more exciting: defensive head movement, footwork, pivots, blocking, level-changing your punches (ex. switching from head and body attacks), etc.

So I was wondering, is it possible to create an AI that adapts to you? For example, if you don't knock your opponent out in the first round—it will have a new strategy in the next. Is this possible on Scratch?

Are there any fics like this?

Like the title says. A wizard uses their magic to build up their criminal enterprise in the Muggle world. Or maybe a Muggle-born Wizard who is from a criminal family (Mafia or Cartel) gets accepted into Hogwarts and uses their knowledge to empower their trafficking business.
