Was it ever explained how the reborn Reagents supress traumatic memories until they hear the trigger words?

I've been re-reading the documents I have collected, and this is something that popped up in my head but I haven't been able to find the answer to. I've also tried looking online if its explained anywhere, but I unfortunately cant find anything. Did I accidentally miss it? I'd love to know the lore reason. Does Murkoff give the Reagents amnestic drugs like in SCP?

Is it possible the devs will start working on Outlast 3 after the Outlast movie comes out?

I feel like my lifespan gets shorter by a month every time I wake up and not see any Outlast 3 news. This game series is one of the things in life that truly keep me going, I dont know where I would be without it. I love Outlast with my whole heart. Easily one of the best games ever made. I cant wait for the movie too, I'm definitely watching it the moment it comes out. I am happy that it will have a completely new protagonist, and I cant wait to see where it will take place. I hope it will be in another Murkoff facility that we havent seen in the games yet, but really anything would do.

I love the lore, worldbuilding, political commentary and everything about this series so much, I dont know how I can put it into words. I'd go to the ends of the Earth for it. And even when Outlast 3 releases, I hope that it will not be the last we see of the series. I also hope the Outlast Trials will go on for a long time. I cant imagine my life without these games. Is this how autistic people feel about their hyperfixations? Is this how medieval knights felt when they wrote letters to their beloveds? No, I'm not stoned. I just need Outlast 3 in my life 💔

Seriously, the VA's (Andrea Deck's) performance was phenomenal, and I cant imagine anyone else voicing Amanda. Easily one of the best performances I've seen in the games I've played so far. I admit I have no idea how it works in the VA industry and whether a voice actor can return to a game after so many years. I dont know if the contract they sign is for a limited amount of time, but I really want her to come back for the sequel 🙏

Not only does it look uncomfortable as hell, but it also feels like its part of the broccoli hair, plastic bag jacket and "pants below your ass" style, or at least its what I see in my area (and my school). It genuinely looks so ugly, eugh. Please stop 🙏
