Ladies, gents and gentlefolk, I present to you: THE SIXTIES! 💪❤️

I officially made it below 70 kilos!!! This may be fluctuating weight, but I am thrilled because I haven’t been below 70 kilos since I was a teenager. I have around 43 kilos of muscle mass and 24 kilos of fat, which means my body is now two thirds muscle!!! 💪💪💪

I’m over the moon and so proud of myself but I have no one to share it with, so I’m posting here.

Keep calm, cico on everyone! :)

[Rant] I am retaining water due to my period and it’s annoying

So I’ve been making pretty good progress up until mid of this week, I “gained” around 2kg (4lbs) and I was pretty surprised. I checked the calendar and yep, it’s about that time of the month.

So today I woke up extremely grumpy and exhausted, drank some coffee which didn’t fix it, still dragged myself to workout, died at the workout, got back home, and listened to my colleague talk endlessly.

I made some delicious keto protein pancakes (2 eggs, acacia fibre, 100% dark cocoa powder, protein powder, coconut milk) for lunch, which helped my mood somewhat, then I said, fuck it, and I went shopping.

When I came back home I made keto friendly egg bites for dinner which my husband loved, but I somehow was still hungry and kind of ravenous and still annoyed and grumpy. So I ate a protein bar, which was too many carbs. Sigh. Anyway, I’ll try again tomorrow.

Someone please pray for me my period actually starts soon so my mood improves and this whole water retention bs is gonna go away. What’s mentally exhausting is I don’t know for sure it’s water retention unless and until my period actually arrives.

To all the women and ladyfolk out there, how did your body adapt to keto and a calorie deficit in terms of menstruation? I’m in need of some wisdom or even just kind words please. I think I’m gonna cry. 😢

Hey fellow dance enthusiasts!👋

I’m f29, 168cm tall and would like to find a reliable lead partner for salsa classes, workshops and parties. I’m not a complete beginner but haven’t danced in a long time. I technically don’t care if you’re a man or a woman, as long as you’re comfortable leading. :)

Would be nice to find a dance partner who is as passionate about salsa as me :)

I’d love to hear from you via DM!

PS: I also speak German, not looking for a boyfriend, and not interested in bachata.

This is for all of you who either want to go out and barbecue or, on the contrary, want to stay away from people’s barbecue smoke.

The city of Munich also has a website specifically for Isar where you can check for all the spots where barbecues are allowed.

The Isar map also lists other useful things like public bathrooms along Isar (please y’all, use them, don’t pee in front of someone’s door), cafes, parks, and other attractions.

Posting this because I’ve recently witnessed too many people being far too ignorant about “you can (not) grill here” instead of simply informing themselves.

Also, stating the obvious: Do not barbecue on the ground, close to trees/vegetation or close to large crowds of people.

Have a sunny day! ❤️☀️
