Nazrawit (f) & Nazrawi (m) name meaning

I’ve been told by an habesha grandmother that it has a “biblical” and “regular” meaning, the biblical meaning being the Amharic/Tigrinya word for the Hebrew word “Nazarite” meaning set apart by God/chosen by God/dedicated to God, and the regular/worldly meaning being “the new millennium.”

Is this accurate?

My cousin is adopted from Ethiopia. His parents are Asian/White and conservative. How can I help?

He's 16. He's been having some issues at home, which I can't deny, sounds worrisome.

But he adores me and my siblings. None of us are Black. I've been thinking about taking him to a Black church and going to African restaurants. Though he's a picky eater in general, so I'm not sure about the restaurants.

His parents are religious and trust me. Would it be ok to go to a Black church with him? I think he could use a Black community.

He has tried to die from suicide, and I want to do what I can to support him. His brother, not adopted, is his best friend. But said brother is moving for college, and I suspect he's acting out even more because he's worried about not having that support.

Alphabet

I am currently learning the Ge’ez alphabet and something I notice in the workbooks I have and the online characters are that the alphabets in the book look different from the alphabets written out by someone’s actual handwriting.

Can someone write in their *actual* handwriting all the Ge’ez handwriting? In their clearest, most presentable handwriting? For some reason, when I see someone’s alphabets written out, it looks different from the ones in my workbook and online. I’m confused on which one I should actually teach myself.

Here are three pictures of examples I have written so far, are they correct in handwriting or is there another way to write them? I don’t want to memorize the wrong thing, it’s already taking time as it is.
