For those who don't know, this is a Hapan defense structure from awakening of the rebellion, and it's BROKEN.

It has a maximum combat range range 6750, outranging almost everything and is quite tanky as well, which blends perfectly with Hapan garrison ships, which have high damage and are less tanky. It also has variants with higher damage and durability.

I always tend to lose ships to this, especially during Rebel campaigns.

If anyone knows a good way to deal with these, please do share.

Long post ahead, but definitely worth the read.

I graduated in 2025, was placed (on-campus) in a niche Product-based company in September 2024 (2nd guy to get placed in a batch of 600 students). Initially, it felt like a dream, but this dream soon turned into a nightmare. I interned at that organization for 6 months. Work conditions were terrible, as working 11-12 hours daily was norm and almost everything was micro-managed. There were sudden policy changes such as 'Working Saturdays'. Smallest of the mistakes were called out and condemned in front of the entire team. Still, I gave my everything as job market was down and I didn't want to lose the job. Despite of all of this, after being given multiple assurances of full-time conversion throughout the internship, I was not converted to full-time role, not because of my performance, but due to 'lack of commitment' :)

In the next few months, I appeared for 7 interviews, some went well, but was rejected in each one of them. I was totally devasted as I was really very confident about 2 of them.

As the job market dried up in the later half of the year and since my Aptitude and English was good, I decided to give CAT a try. Prepared rigorously for 3 months, gave everything I got, and scored 94.XX %, which looks good on-paper, but in-reality, not of much use for my profile.

As 2026 arrived, I was purposeless and had no one to talk to, my so-called 'friends' abandoned me and support from parents was dwindling. Everyday, I used to wake up without any idea of what I was going to do that day. I tried working on my skills, tried making projects but nothing materialized as much as I had no motivation or energy left anymore. I still kept crawling through this phase.

Things changed in March 2026, I cleared the screening rounds for IBM and appeared for physical interview almost 800 kms from my home. Later that month, I had test (NQT) as well as interview for TCS. To be honest, I didn't give my best in both of these interviews and didn't expect much, but I guess the stars aligned in my favor this time. I got offer from TCS (Digital role) a few days ago and from IBM (ASE role) today. I'm still processing all of this and never had thought that the guy who was considering himself a failure would get multiple offers in a span of few days.

To anyone who is struggling to get a job or any other targets, just hold the ground and show up to opportunities, you never know when stars-align in your favor.

Thanks a lot for reading and wish you all the best :)

I am a 2025 grad, not working right now with a gap of 6 months. I got two offers recently, from TCS and IBM.

TCS Digital (Systems Engineer)

  • Pay: 7 LPA
  • Location: Hometown
  • Joining: Uncertain

IBM ASE (Associate Systems Engineer)

  • Pay: 4.5 - 5 LPA
  • Location: Banglore (most likely)
  • Joining: around 15-20 May

IBM offers early joining, but I feel the pay is low for a city like Banglore. Moreover, TCS hiring process is going lightning fast this year, and some have even received Joining Letters, plus the work location is my hometown, so my expenses would reduce a lot, so I am inclined towards TCS. Would love to know your inputs.
