My father got the janitor pregnant and my mother will not divorce him because she doesn't want to be humiliated
I am 17M and I do not get along well with my father. He had a tough childhood, was poor and really made it in life. He is currently the director (not owner) of a company with hundreds employees. He is very good at his job and respected but can be very controlling and micromanages people and keeps saying he will not waste company's money for w0ke non sense. So no mental health events, no compassion workshops and no empathy as a MANDATORY trait for being a leader. Also all except one of his direct reports are men. The company is doing great, he made some of the best financial deals in its history and this man can negotiate
He criticise me for being this and that, for not hitting the gym (he doesn't either but he keeps in perfect shape by walking to his job everyday and swimming regularly). I don't want to be like him but I won't lie it is surprising for me from time to time how much women seems to look up to him and fancy him with his type of personality.
and he got the janitor (who works at the company he leads) pregnant, a woman who is like 29, 30 (he is 45). He didn't tell anything to my mother, it was this woman who is from eastern europe (russian or Ukrainan) that sent my mother a text randomly: nothing better than offering under the desk support for the one who signs my paycheck and some other things. she did it anonymously and denied for weeks it was her but ultimately Dad made her admit it was her. she hoped it will look like some bitter employee did it. but her English is sooo soo bad that it was obvious it was her. She can barely speak English. Anyway, she just... resigned
I thought my mother will divorce him but she doesn't want to let that woman win and humiliate her. I am so upset and I just need someone to talk to about this and some advice how to live through this
