What music albums in particular do you think reflect the atmosphere and tone of the book?
For me, it’s Bleaklow by the stranger (aka Leyland Kirby).

The audio still works fine, mind you, but I think I let it drop on the ground (never threw it though) so many times that the right side of the headband cover is staring to break today. I’m gonna try and get it fixed.
I think they’re super cool experimental ambiences, and bleaklow is just peak heavy atmosphere
I’ve read the book in English class and I’ve finished reading it by now, and throughout reading the book I became so invested and intrigued by the characters that I decided to draw some of them!
Like, the way he feels as if he’s being concerned into a wall, the way he visibly is trying everything to contain his emotions until he lets it all burst out, the way he goes to SUCH EXTREME LENGTHS that he normally would never go, he way he’s so confused and distraught at everything around him, the way he he screams about all of his frustrations, it’s all so on point.
I haven’t had a full on autistic meltdown in so long and I don’t approve of what Caine did to the players at all but I can’t help but feel so bad for him and the _pain_ he’s going through. Hell when he yells “WHY DO YOU PEOPLE TORMENT ME!?” It feels like he isn’t even trying to just shake them or hit them with a loaded question, he’s genuinely begging for an answer to a problem that he feels as if he can’t understand.

She’d probably prefer the Japanese version
apologies for the slight desync, couldn't get the video itself to be full quality so i edited the song file over it
Personally the cybernetic ghost from Christmas past from the future really grew on me, like I love how his genuinely awesome looking design contrast against his dorky, nonsensical attitude and stories and he has great lines
