Would it be ok to put Caine in the washing machine?

I got a few paint stains on him because I keep him with me while I work on my art I have tried washing the stains off with wet wipes but they don’t completely come off so should I throw Caine plush into the washing machine? I’m worried about him getting damaged in the wash.

i headcanon Caine is pretty similar to jax, and has some animal behaviours when very happy

Also I'm liking associating him with Canaries, which are domestic birds that sing, are sociable and silly
