Please don’t judge haha. My friend and I are in Omaha for a few days for other things…. But saddle creek and bright eyes have been a big thing in our lives. We know the shop is closed. Any spots that have any lore or weird significance related to saddle creek or bright eyes things? Any record shops that have taken some of the mantle so to speak?

Curious about dive bars, cafes, bookstores, record stores, galleries, etc that have events in town. I’m a touring performer from Detroit who had a show fall through last minute. Trying to dig around —- stand up comics, musicians, spoken word artists, etc who sometimes set things up would also be really awesome to know. Where do open mics happen? Punk shows? Poetry readings? That type of thing?? Thanks! Hope to see your city.
