A Turning Point for Apple or Just Business as Usual?
I have been on AAPL after the recent news of Tim stepping down, feels less like a dramatic ending and more like a quiet handoff.
Tim Cook built Apple into a machine, not the visionary energy of Steve Jobs, but the execution was elite.
The issue is that the last few years have felt more refined than exciting. Better products, but not many big surprises.
That’s why John Ternus stepping in feels like the safe option.
Strong hardware background, deep understanding of the ecosystem, and likely a bigger push into on-device AI through Apple Silicon rather than a complete reset.
For now, I am still keeping my long position open, but if things go otherwise, I won't mind going for a short.
