Does anyone have any recommendations on software to monitor CPU voltages while in Windows? My BIOS is saying that the voltage for core 0 is 2.2 volts when idling (higher than expected) but the other three cores are receiving normal voltage. The PC seems to run fine, and the CPU temps look normal, so I'm lead to believe this may be a case of a bad censor, the CPU and motherboard are both quite old. I'm curious if software within Windows will show me the same numbers or more accurate ones, depending on how those numbers are retrieved.

Bonus points if someone knows the answer on whether the sensors for this are part of the motherboard, or CPU itself.

For those who want to know, the parts are as follows (Yes they're old parts):

  • MoBo: Asus Z97-A
  • CPU: Intel i7-4790K

I'm trying to diagnose an old PC that no longer boots properly. I've been through hell and back with it trying to figure out what the problem is. Currently it "turns on", the PSU and CPU fans spin consistently but the keyboard doesn't light so USBs aren't getting power, and no display is being sent to the monitor, with no unusual MoBo lights on. I'm trying to just get it to boot with as few factors as possible. Currently I have the MoBo (obviously), the CPU, CPU cooler + fan, one RAM stick, a keyboard, with an HDMI cable. Is that the minimum parts required to theoretically POST?

For those who want to know, the parts are as follows (Yes they're old parts):

  • MoBo: Asus Z97-A
  • CPU: Intel i7-4790K
  • Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO
  • RAM: Kingston 1866MHz DDR3

I've been playing NA FPP solos lately, and when I go to the match report, I can click on the little nameplate for those I've killed and been killed by. When I click on the nameplates, some actually take me to profiles while others don't. Is it safe to assume that the ones that don't take me to a profile were a bot?
