Took my 6 year old daughter for a ride around the neighborhood and some quiet roads for like 20 minutes. She’s a little mini me so she loved it! I got her a safety harness that hooks her right up to me. Electric bikes work great with passengers. You can hear and talk to them easily, no hot exhaust to worry about, and my daughter also has a little pink electric bike that she is really good on that I’ve been riding my bicycle together with her and maybe I can trail her in this. I couldn’t have done that with my last loud Triumph.

Just sold my 2011 Triumph Scrambler and picked up this 2020 SR/f! Used on marketplace for I think a really great deal (5k, 19,000 miles, brand new tires, new brakes) Went full electric now with a Kia Ev9 and a Tesla Model Y. I also just suffered a stroke a month ago so not having to worry about a clutch really helps a lot.

Question: I was trying to find any input on an easily detachable backpack style rear side saddlebag for urban commuting. I usually ride with a backpack but it can get pretty hot in Chicago summer traffic. Any ideas? Has to carry a laptop and minor gym gear.
