Need advice - wedding decor ideas with a soft purple and sparkle theme

I just wanted to share a bit about my wedding preparations and the jewelry I’m planning to wear and maybe get some advice too.We don’t have a big budget, so I’ve been trying to be creative with everything. For my dress, I found some inspiration on Pinterest and decided to work with a really good tailor to create a custom piece instead of buying something super expensive

For the engagement ring, my fiancé and I chose a square moissanite. From what I’ve read here and from my own research, it seems like a better long-term option compared to lab diamonds, especially for daily wear, so that made me feel more confident in our choiceAnother thing I’m really excited about my closest friends and I are getting colorful moissanite pieces together. Everyone will choose a color that represents their birth month, and we actually found a site that lets us do that(it was Promise Moissanite), which feels really special and personal.I’ll also be wearing a pearl necklace that my mom gifted me, which means a lot to me 🤍

And we’re planning to get a tennis bracelet too (also moissanite — I just love the sparkle and reflections so much).Because I love that bright, reflective look, I decided to lean into purple tones for some of the details. For the after-party, I got a purple dress that will really highlight the sparkle of the jewelry. I’m also thinking of adding small purple touches like lilac-toned nails, maybe a soft lavender eye look, and even subtle violet accents in my bouquet or hair accessories to tie everything together.

I’m someone who really enjoys focusing on little details like this, so I’d love to hear if you have any suggestions, ideas, or even things you wish you had done differently for your wedding.

Thanks in advance 💜

For those who’ve worn moissanite for a while do you ever feel like it’s too much ?

I’ve been thinking about getting a tennis bracelet for my wedding. The thing is my ring and necklace are already moissanite, and I do like how they look.

But I’m not sure how I’d feel about adding a full tennis bracelet on top of that.Maybe I should go for something more subtle like a lab diamond for this?

but at the same time I just like more lively pieces

The only thing is, at the wedding everything will be worn together… but after that I’ll probably wear them separately in everyday life. So I’m not sure what makes more sense in the long run.

So I guess my question is

For those who’ve had moissanite pieces for a year or more, did your opinion change over time?

Do you still love the look, or do you ever wish you had gone for something more subtle like lab diamonds?

how do you avoid scratching people with your rings?😅

this might sound random but it’s something I’ve been thinking about lately 😅

I’m trying to get used to wearing rings more often, but one thing that always stays in the back of my mind is… accidentally hurting someone with it

like I actually remember when I was little, my aunt had a ring with a bit of a sharp edge and while she was just being affectionate, she accidentally scratched my face and it really hurt 😭

it wasn’t anything serious but I guess it stuck with menow I keep thinking what if I do that to someone, especially kids or even just when hugging people or touching someone’s face casually

do you just get used to being more careful over time?or are there certain ring styles that are safer for everyday wear?

which one actually looks more like a real diamond?

this might sound a bit silly but me and my friends wanted to do something cute together we were thinking of getting matching rings, like a little bff thing… nothing expensive, just something meaningful we can all wear.

at first we were like okay let’s just go with cubic zirconia because it’s affordable and still looks nice. but then we started overthinking it (as usual 😭)

some of us think moissanite looks more “real” because of the way it sparkles, and others are like it probably doesn’t matter that much.now we’re kinda stuck trying to decide.

so I just wanted to ask:

which one actually looks more like a real diamond — moissanite or cubic zirconia?

we don’t expect it to be identical obviously, but we also don’t want it to look cheap since we’ll all be wearing them.

if you’ve seen both in real life or own one, I’d really love to hear your thoughts 🥺

custom made wedding dress

lately I’ve been saving a lot of wedding dress ideas on Pinterest now I’m starting to think maybe I could create something inspired by those pieces? my aunt is actually a seamstress and she said she could make something similar, which made me consider it

but I’m also a bit worried it might not turn out the way I imagine has anyone here gone for a Pinterest inspired dress or had something custom made would love to hear how it went

Need advice

I always thought I’d be super chill about this kind of stuff like I was 100% okay with getting something simple and affordable and not thinking too much about it but the closer it gets, the more I catch myself noticing little things like how different stones look in certain lighting, or how some feel more alive than others and now I’m kinda annoyed at myself for even thinking about it this much 😭I still don’t want anything expensive, just something I won’t get tired of Cubic zirconia is cheaper than moissanite, but I’ve heard it’s not as durable. I also really like the sparkle of moissanite. Do you think the price difference is worth it

anyway just wanted to share this because I didn’t expect to overthink something like this
