Caitlin’s Powers Went From Interesting to Completely All Over the Place

I hate how The Flash kept rewriting Caitlin’s powers. At first, it’s tied to Barry Allen creating Flashpoint. He changes the timeline, resets it, and suddenly Caitlin ends up with ice powers from the particle accelerator fallout. Fine, that tracks enough for this show. But then Season 3 randomly makes her powers turn her evil with barely any solid explanation.

Then Season 4 swerves again and turns her into a split-personality situation, basically a knockoff of Bruce Banner and Hulk, where “Killer Frost” is this separate persona living inside her.

Season 5 retcons that by saying Killer Frost was always there because of her dad’s experiments, meaning it’s not just a meta-human side effect anymore. It’s inherited. And then by Season 7, they fully split Caitlin and Frost into two completely separate people like that was always the plan.

At a certain point it stops feeling like character development and starts feeling like the writers changing their minds every season and hoping no one notices.

As an eldest sister I understand why Candance was so obsessed with busting her brothers

  1. She cares deeply about them and what they do every day is dangerous

  2. As the eldest if one of them (or both) gets hurt then she is to be blamed.

I believe Beck had feelings for Tori the entire time he was with Jade

I think he fell for her the first time they kissed in the pilot. At the same time, he still had real feelings for Jade, and he assumed Tori didn’t see him that way. He figured the kiss was just her way of getting back at Jade, so he stayed in the relationship, partly out of loyalty and partly because his feelings for Jade were still there.

Over the next few seasons, his feelings for Jade faded while his feelings for Tori kept growing. Even then, he still doubted that she liked him romantically. Eventually, though, he got brave enough to act on it, which is why he tried to kiss her near the end of the series. I think it was the final episode, but I’m not completely sure.

What do you guys think?

This version of Anne Boleyn deserved what happened to her and more

I know this show is historically inaccurate but that doesn't stop me from feeling satisfied when Anne Boleyn was executed. How she was portrayed in this show was sickening and I felt satisfaction when her downfall started the moment she gave birth to Elizabeth. I hated how she treated Catherine of Aragon, how she disrespected her privately and publicly, promising Henry she'd give birth to a son when she knew it was 50/50, her arrogance, etc. Again, I know the real Anne Boleyn did not historically act like the Anne Boleyn in The Tudors, but this version of Anne Boleyn I had zero sympathy for.
