Anyone else feel like the pilot promised more depth than we got?
I always thought the pilot kind of suggested a slightly different version of the show than what it ended up being.
Like, the first episode actually had a surprising amount of heart. Tori being thrown into a completely new environment, feeling out of place, trying to prove herself, it all felt pretty grounded. Even the character dynamics seemed like they were setting up something with a bit more emotional depth.
But as the show goes on, it feels like that side of it almost doesn’t exist anymore. It becomes much more focused on random humor, exaggerated situations, and standalone gags.
I still think the show is fun, but I’ve always had this feeling that the pilot was hinting at something a bit more character-driven, and we didn’t fully get that version in the long run.
That being said, I don’t think the show completely lost that side of itself. There are still moments here and there that hit emotionally, like the dynamic between Tori and Jade in Tori Goes Platinum. Episodes like that remind me of what the show could tap into when it wanted to.
I find opinions of Jade are pretty mixed? What do you think of her?
Do you think she's a bad person or just misunderstood?
Did anyone else think Tori and Beck would eventually get together after finishing the first episode?
I feel like the first episode suggests Tori and Beck are the it couple of the show? Like intentionally?
9 times out of 10 the trio dynamic they show between her, Jade and Beck where the female protagonist seems to develop a immediate bond with the guy but he's got a mean gf, this kinda is the way it ends?
It makes me wonder if this WERE the original idea what was the end plan for Jade? For her to just be the antagonist? For her to find another love interest?
It does seem by "Tori fixes Jade and Beck" this idea was fully abandoned. As for why... I do have a kinda idea but its based on who we have learned Schneider is and honestly I may be hugely reaching with it.
The one time Tori is explicitly flirting with Jade
We all know the April Fool's episode is very incoherent, random and chaotic. However, in most episodes, Jade is usually the one to flirt with Tori and makes innuendos when Tori touches her. However, in this episode, Tori flirts with Jade for once!!
Jade: Looks like somebody's gonna have to get tickled.
Tori: No... I'm not in the mood *gestures and makes a silly face*
TORI WANTED TO BE TICKLED BY JADE??? one of my top 3 jori moments.
Dan really liked making his characters have zero IQ
Victorious 20th anniversary reunion tour idea
If the victorious cast for the show’s 20th anniversary did a reunion world tour singing all the old songs, would you go? If so, why? Or if not, why not? I’d love for them to tour for the anniversary, especially since they haven’t visited Australia on their previous tours. I was really disappointed they couldn’t come because I couldn’t afford to travel to America to see them. I’m curious to know your thoughts on this. Obviously, considering the trauma the actors involved have they might not return. Eric Laing is quite successful and they might not be able to get some of the other cast members. Ariana might also be touring, so I’m not sure.
Andre was in Cat’s chorus after Victorious!!
Obviously I’m joking in the title and I’m actually talking about Leon Thomas and Ariana Grande, and we can actually hear his voice in Tattoed Heart ( in Ari’s Yours Truly albums )
I also heard that he helped her produce her album after Victorious and it’s so wonderful to hear it. Oh I love their potential.
He’s such an underrated producer AND singer and i can’t explain how happy I am to see their sweet friendship !!
I believe Beck had feelings for Tori the entire time he was with Jade
I think he fell for her the first time they kissed in the pilot. At the same time, he still had real feelings for Jade, and he assumed Tori didn’t see him that way. He figured the kiss was just her way of getting back at Jade, so he stayed in the relationship, partly out of loyalty and partly because his feelings for Jade were still there.
Over the next few seasons, his feelings for Jade faded while his feelings for Tori kept growing. Even then, he still doubted that she liked him romantically. Eventually, though, he got brave enough to act on it, which is why he tried to kiss her near the end of the series. I think it was the final episode, but I’m not completely sure.
What do you guys think?
Is Robbie worse than Sinjin?
I discovered a couple of Youtube channels talking about the show including Nick and Cory and when they talked about the beginning of the second season when Robbie admitted that he stalked Tori, one of the hosts said he's way worse than Sinjin. Anyone agree?
I thought the The 100 finale was the worst season finale of all time, until I remembered that "Blooptorious" was the Season 2 finale.
I mean, seriously. What were they thinking? Not only is the episode boring, but it's also kind of... rude? Like, what was the point of belittling Daniella (who, remember, was supposed to be herself in the interview, not Trina) as if she were boring, and having her entire segment consist of "Rex" asking her, "Wouldn't you like to be Ariana Grande?"
What a wasted episode and what a disappointing season finale. Especially after what the S1 finale was like, with Sleepover at Sikowitz.
Beck in "Beck's Big Break" was way too chill about getting fired from the movie
Honestly, Tori and Jade cared more about the situation than Beck, the victim, did. And he wasn't angry or disappointed with Tori like Jade was. I know Beck's a chill guy, but still, he just moved past it.
Am I right that Jade is worse than Robbie in terms of personality?
Especially since she shows little affection for everyone and he is a good loyal and honest friend to everyone.
WHY does cat have a photo of sizowitz on her bedroom wall 💔
something i realised when watching the other day

ive been itching to watch it but i cant find it anywhere.. thanks in advance tho !!
