Northwestern or Georgetown❓❓❓

Context

for some context, I’m an international American citizen choosing between both schools. Cost is not really a factor in consideration. I was accepted into Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and Northwestern’s College of Arts and Sciences. I’m really interested in exploring Poli Sci and Economics, and career wise I’m interested in Law and Consulting/finance. Socially, I’m looking for an environment that is party oriented but where friendships are also really tigh-knit. Academically, I want academic flexibility to explore different subjects and don’t mind the work. For one, I really like the opportunities that come with studying at Georgetown (DC Econ and govt internships), but I feel like being in the SFS I won’t have much academic flexibility. I do feel like the quality of life and social culture at georgetown is much better and connections are a lot better. On the other hand, I feel like northwestern is characterized by academic flexibility and within CAS I can explore all my academic interests without too much disciplinary focus. However, socially I’m concerned that social life revolves solely around frats and that the school is just not as social as Gtown. In general, Im looking for a school that’s the right balance but also where I won’t feel academically trapped. Additionally, I don’t know if northwestern is the blatant choice because of how well it’s ranked in the past years.

Help in choosing would be greatly appreciated!!

Did Columbia increase its waitlist pool after all that happened last year? It feels like a lot of people are on the waitlist or is it just me.
