Propio's complete lack of professionalism is starving its US interpreters. I'm done

Disclaimer: long text

I need to vent because the situation with Propio right now is completely unacceptable and I'm at my breaking point.

I'm a US-based interpreter, and the lack of professionalism from this company is just staggering. They are barely sending any calls our way anymore. It’s an open secret that they are routing almost all the volume to interpreters who charge a fraction of our rate, leaving us out to dry. And the worst part? There is absolutely zero regulation stopping them from doing this to us.

Taxes have gone up significantly this year, and my income has completely tanked because of their greed. It’s gotten so bad that I’ve had to severely cut back on basic human necessities. I'm literally skipping meals and keeping the heat off at night just to make sure I don't end up on the street.

But what honestly breaks my heart the most is that I cannot even afford enough food for my pets anymore (but I do it anyways, with my credit card). I recently adopted a sweet little cat, and looking into their eyes knowing I'm struggling to feed them because my own company abandoned us is a soul-crushing feeling. I cry almost every night out of pure anxiety.

The million-dollar question is: why does Propio, an American company, do this to its own citizens? We helped build this company, and now we're being starved out for cheaper labor without a second thought.

I’m just so done with this shit. Please tell me I'm not the only one dealing with this.

I just needed to let it out ahhh

Ghosted by Lionbridge. Any tips to actually get a response?

Hey everyone, I could really use some advice.

I’ve been trying to join Lionbridge, and my background as a freelance remote medical interpreter fits properly. The problem? My applications are going straight into a black hole.

I applied normally and even followed up directly, but nothing. Just crickets.

I know they're notoriously slow, but I'd really love to land this role. Has anyone managed to break the silence lately?

Are there specific resume keywords I might be missing?

Does anyone have a direct HR email or know a responsive recruiter on LinkedIn?
