Medical interpreter from outside of the USA

hi everyone . I am a medical interpreter I have been working for Propio for about two years as a Us based interpreter. I asked them if I could continue doing so from abroad but they told me no. I am looking for other companies that can hire me as a medical interpreter and work remotely from Chile . Does anyone know or has worked for one before ?

thanks in advance for all the help

Very quick rejection from Propio

Hi! A few hours ago I took my first attempt at Propio’s Mock Assessment and unfortunately I failed. Honestly, I feel like I translated almost everything correctly without missing much, except for the names of two medications. I tried to look them up, but I couldn’t clearly catch the exact words being said. Maybe I should have explicitly mentioned that I was looking them up? Ah, and in one of the segments I stuttered a little.

Other than that, I took notes and repeated the messages the way they recommend on the platform. Any pauses I made were mostly because I was finishing my notes.

What really surprised me is that I received the rejection email only 3 minutes after the email saying I had completed the interview. Has this happened to anyone else, either for a rejection or even an approval? It honestly feels like they barely reviewed the test or that some automated system filtered me out immediately. Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.

Passed NBCMI Written — Looking to Speak With Someone Who Passed the Spanish Oral Exam

Hi everyone. I passed the NBCMI written exam for English-Spanish and I’m preparing for the oral exam. I’m not looking for a course or actual test answers — just hoping to speak with someone who passed it and can tell me how difficult it felt, what the pacing was like, and what to expect generally. I’d really appreciate a quick DM or 10-minute chat.
