Toothpaste Curiosity as a Child.

his might sound gross to some people, but I’ve met others who’ve done the same. When we were kids and learning how to brush our teeth from our parents or dentist, some of us got curious and tried a tiny bit of the minty toothpaste because we liked the taste, and it didn’t seem harmful.

Did anyone else try tasting toothpaste as a kid?

LGBTQ+ Presence in the Television Industry.

We’ve all heard the buzz around Heated Rivalry, and honestly… I’m still completely hooked. I’ve been trying to get my friends into it too, but not everyone has the same freedom, some have parents who aren’t supportive of the LGBTQ+ community, which made me a bit sad because I just wanted to share something I enjoy with them. It also made me think about how some people try to avoid these conversations altogether, even going as far as homeschooling to limit exposure. But realistically, the world is full of different people and perspectives, and at some point, everyone will encounter that diversity anyway.

Do you notice more queer representation now than a few years ago?

Pizza Toppings That Spark Debate.

Have you ever ordered a pizza or flatbread and noticed it came with arugula on top? It can be delicious, but it’s usually a salad ingredient. It kind of reminds me of pineapple on pizza—some people love it, others are totally put off. What do you think?

What’s a pizza topping you love that others find weird?

Remember being little and going to pick out a movie or game with your family, grabbing snacks, and knowing you only had it for a few days? The debates with your siblings over what to choose or whose turn it was felt so serious back then.

Do you remember having just a few days to watch your Blockbuster rental before it was due back?

Looks Good, But Does It Sound Good?

We all throw on some kind of earbuds or headphones at the gym or when we’re out. Some of us go for AirPods because they’re comfy, others wear big headphones as a “don’t talk to me” sign but are we even paying attention to how the music actually sounds?

The Ultimate Road Trip Playlist

For those who go on lots of road trips, whether it’s summer camping or winter ski adventures some drives can be pretty long. And depending on how many people are in the car, things can get a little awkward with silence or running out of things to talk about. So, someone usually comes prepared with a playlist (any genre works) to keep the vibes going and help pass the time.

Trying Hudson Williams’ Skincare Routine.

We’ve all heard of the TV show Heated Rivalry and its cast, but has anyone noticed their skin? I’ve recently been hyper-focused on Hudson Williams’ skin, he’s obviously half-Korean and it’s insanely clear, both on the show and in press interviews. So, naturally, I decided to follow his skincare routine (which I’m guessing a lot of his fans are doing too). I’ve purchased a few of the products he uses, and after a few weeks, my skin feels so much more hydrated! I’ve also noticed that Korean beauty shops have been popping up everywhere, which made it super easy to find his products. Honestly, I didn’t expect to see results this quickly, but I’m loving it so far!

Which celebrity-inspired skincare routine have you experimented with?

When Work Treats Leave People Out.

We all have those fun times at work when everyone comes together and managers bring in food. But some of us have allergies, and while those organizing should take note of that, not every work environment is considerate enough to accommodate it, so some people end up feeling left out.

Do your managers consider dietary restrictions during work events?

Green vs Red Grapes.

When you’re at the grocery store and see green and red grapes, do you stick to your usual choice or switch it up? I sometimes find the texture of red grapes a bit off, so I go for green ones because they feel juicier, what about you?

When choosing grapes, do you go for taste, texture, or both?

Sourdough Season.

Has anyone tried making sourdough from a starter and had it either turn out perfectly… or completely fail? We’ve all seen those TikToks and Instagram videos of sourdough starters exploding or going wrong, and somehow you still feel a little guilty for them when it doesn’t work out.

And who could forget the COVID days when everyone suddenly became a baker? Stuck inside our homes, making bread dough felt like the ultimate comfort hobby. It was messy, experimental, and sometimes chaotic but it was definitely a moment.

Do you have a sourdough memories?

The Health Benefits of Eating Fish

Salmon is well known for being good for the brain and may support people with dementia thanks to its omega-3s. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help protect brain health, but it doesn’t cure the disease. Other fish, like tuna, tilapia, and sardines, also offer health benefits. Some support heart health, eye health, bone strength, and the immune system. Eating a variety of fish regularly is a tasty way to stay healthy and help avoid getting sick.

What is your favourite fish?
