Bravia 9 - Settings and accessories

My 75” B9 is on its way and would like to get the most out of the TV when it arrives. It will be wall mounted in our bright living room and will mostly be used for streaming and occasionally sports. Any advice on settings and accessories (e.g specific soundbar, Apple TV, any specific HDMI cables, picture and sound settings)?

Thanks!

I’m looking to upgrade my 65” Samsung Q77T
(2020) and have after extensive research convinced myself that a Bravia 9 75” is the best fit because of its amazing upscaling and picture quality. It’s retailing here for around 5,000$ but I found it on sale for 3,200$ and I’m not sure if it will drop further in the coming months. Would really appreciate any input to help find the best TV for my needs. Other options I have looked at is Samsung QN90F, TCL C8L and C9K.

Room type: bright room with direct sunlight coming from the side

Usage: mostly streaming (IPTV, Netflix) and cable TV. Occasionally sports (soccer, tennis)

Viewing distance: 4m

Budget: around 3k$

I’m looking for a new TV for my living room, mainly for Netflix, some sports, and gaming. The TV will be placed next to large windows, so I want something that performs well in a bright room and handles reflections. My research suggests the G5 is the best value, but I’d like to hear what this subreddit thinks. I’ve also considered the G6 (which isn’t available in Sweden yet), but I suspect the price will be too high.
