How cooked am I? 2008 Hyundai Veracruz
My cars been having issues recently with this ticking sound. Yesterday I found out it somehow burnt through 90% of its oil in less than a week. I started it and it ran dry for two seconds before circulating oil. Ever since, if I leave the car off for an hour or more, it makes this sound. Sounds like it has no oil. The oil is full now, I change it regularly and I checked it a week or two ago and it was on full. I need to make at least a 12 hour trip within the month one way.
I need help finding a single DIN dash kit for a 2008 Veracruz. Crutchfield has none
I drive a 2008 Hyundai Veracruz base model. I don’t have the auto climate controls nor the navigation system. I can’t find a single din kit that doesn’t have the stupid automatic climate controls. Anyone have any ideas? Or could someone link one to me😁🙏
Looking for help with a 2008 Hyundai Veracruz (potentially timing related)
As the post lists above, I drive a 2008 Hyundai Veracruz. Recently I’ve noticed I have a persistent p0018 code, this has been on for a while and nothing out of the ordinary was happening aside from idle fluctuations and sluggish accelerations. Recently, I’ve noticed a ticking and I found the area it’s coming from, but I need to know what the ticking could be, this video was taken from the passenger side wheel well today as I noticed the ticking got worse. All ticking stops after 1.5k rpm’s
New parts include brand new timing chain, tensioners, and valve cover gaskets as a bonus cause this thing leaked onto my alternator. This happened after the car previously jumped timing roughly 4-5 months ago
I FOUND OUT IM NOT CRAZY FINALLY PLEASE HELP (2008 Hyundai Veracruz 3.8L v6)
I noticed this ticking noise outside the car but couldn’t ever find it. TODAY, I found it and got it on video. I have a p0018 which I’ve had for a while I think it’s finally started to show its effect. I just need someone to tell me what this popping might be from this area. Passenger side bank 2
