Long arm lift height

Anyone rocking a 5.5” or 6.5” long arm kit from IRO? How do you like it, what tire size are you running

Dana 44 regear

1976 1/2 ton Ford Dana 44.
Took it from 3.50 gears with an open differential to 5.38 gear ratio, 1350 yoke, and an Ox locker that will be pneumatically operated. Now to order a big brake kit for it, RCV’s, put on some rust converter and then paint it.

Snagged this bare JK 44 rear for $50 last week. This will eventually get swapped into the WJ once I get finished with my other Jeep project. For the front, I think I may go with crate 44 and skip the wimpy JK rubicon 44 front.

Picking up a bare JK 44 rear housing for dirt cheap, eventually I will source crate JK 44 front to swap in as well. Power plant will be a 4.6 or 4.7L I6 stroker and mate to the factory (but improved) 42RE, tires will be either a narrower 34 or 35”. I live in a mountainous area, the jeep will be built for backcountry Jeeping adventures, so what would be best, 4.88’s or 5.13’s? Overdrive is rather tall in this transmission?

Currently have 4.10’s with 245/65R17 (30”x9.50”) with the factory 4.0L and it is adequate for the little jeep.
