Help!!! baby pilea!

I was picking up the pot to water my pilea when this little shoot off popped out of the pot. I got out a tiny pot and put him in there for a week, but he keeps falling over, despite keeping the soil, very moist to encourage root growth. I also made him a little humidity area. I’m wondering if he needs to water propagate first? What do I do?!

This is Rapunzel for obvious reasons that I’m needing help managing. I just repotted her in a smaller pot because I think I went too big the first time. But I have no idea what to do with this five or 6 foot long tendril. It is now whipping her around in this new pot and any moss pole tall enough to maintain it is going to pull the entire pot over. I’m assuming this tendril happened because the plant was making roots instead of leaves, but I have no idea if I’m supposed to cut it and prop it or what. I have a plastic attachment tie ready to secure to something, but I want to be sure it’s in the right place. Thanks in advance!
