Glasgow live music

Might sound like a right grumpy bastard here but has anyone else noticed that loads of pub/bar live acoustic singers with guitars basically play every song the exact same way now… I mean they seem like good singers and competent guitarists but it seems like the same Mumford/sheeran type strumming/tempo, hitting guitar like a drum, maybe altering the beat or tempo and then just singing random cover songs over it.

You’ll hear Oasis, Lewis Capaldi, George Ezra, The Killers etc and somehow they all end up sounding like one long medley and it starts grating on my brain after 30 mins.

Is this just what folk like, or is it cheaper for bar owners, or am I becoming a miserable old guy?

Hi, I have this pipe coming out the back of my house. It’s normally capped off by a threaded cap.

I need to move it because I want some steps there so was thinking of a 90 degree bend and extend it along the wall a few meters.

When I put all my household taps on as well as showers a big rush of water came out (bigger than in the video). Also a small amount of what looked like toilet paper or maybe baby wipes (yes i know but sometimes my son has issues and he uses them and forgets to bin them) came out, it was pretty gunky water but left long enough it was clear.

What is this and can I extend it out 90 degrees somehow, if so what connections do i need, it seems to have a threaded end?
