1. What does an EDA Software do ? Like what does it do to make the process easy for a Chip Designer ?

2. Why are these software mostly closed source and expensive ? Is it so difficult to create a good open source alternative that does the work at industry level ? Why is the no cheap closed source alternative ?

PS - I know about Easy EDA but I have heard it's only used by students not by people in jobs. Like for example Pytorch is used by both students and by job professionals but why isn't that the case with EDA Software ?

A sudden trend among gym going people and many fitness conscious people in India is drinking Diet Coke. They drink that a lot. So I wanted to ask how safe is it to drink Diet Coke in comparison to a Normal Coke ?

Like while drinking normal Coke I know it's bad but are there any bad things with Diet Coke too ?
