Is it just me or can you feel when someone’s energy towards you changes, even before anything obvious happens? What’s usually the first sign for you?

I’ve been with my girlfriend for a little over a year now and everything has honestly been good up until recently.

The last few weeks, she’s been acting different in ways I can’t fully explain, but I feel it.

She used to text me a lot during the day, send random updates, and just be very open. Now she replies late, keeps things short, and sometimes leaves me on read.

The thing that’s bothering me most is how she acts with her phone when we’re together. She used to not care, but now she angles her screen away or quickly switches apps when I’m near.

I asked her about it calmly and she said I’m “looking for problems that don’t exist” and that she’s just been stressed lately.

I want to believe her, but my gut is telling me something is off. At the same time, I don’t want to be that insecure guy who ruins a good relationship over nothing.

I haven’t found any actual proof of anything, just small changes that are adding up in my head.

Am I overthinking this, or are these actual red flags I shouldn’t ignore?
