Looking for playtesters - top-down survival / crafting RPG | 5 years in development (PC)

Hey, we’re looking for playtesters for Good Heavens! RPG

It’s a top-down survival / crafting RPG set across floating islands where you build, fight, and deal with a world that’s a bit chaotic by design. Similar to Don't Starve Together.

Right now we’re mainly testing for bugs and combat feel across different styles (Warfare, Trickery, Sorcery), base building and progression, and how the early game feels overall before full release. You’re not locked into one playstyle, so you can mix things and experiment.

We’re collecting feedback through a small Discord group for testers.

If you’re interested, comment or DM and I’ll send details.

5 years into development - mixing combat styles in our survival RPG (Good Heavens!)

We’ve been working on Good Heavens! for the past few years - it’s a top-down survival / crafting RPG set across floating islands. People compare it to Don't Starve and it is definitely one of our inspirations, but with its own unique twist and gameplay mechanics.

You build, explore, fight, and deal with a world that doesn’t always behave the way you expect.

One thing we leaned into pretty early is not locking players into a class.
Instead, you can mix between different combat styles - Warfare (close combat), Trickery (ranged), and Sorcery (magic) - and build your own setup over time.

The video shows how differently they play, and that you can combine them instead of committing to just one.

Curious to see what kind of builds people gravitate towards.
