Choosing my 1st oled

Never tried an OLED monitor before, currently using a 34-inch VA panel and looking to upgrade to OLED.

I don't use my PC for work, but I do spend a fair amount of time reading on internet. For gaming, most of the time I only play story-base game, 3A. Don't touch any fps competitve game. My budget not that big, so I'm wondering if it's worth picking up the recently released X36 model over the MPG 341CQPX.

I live in Vietnam and the price difference here is quite significant, also we don't have the return policy like amazon so I need to pick carefully, around $730 for the older model and $1,150 for the new one. I've watched several reviews of the new model, but since I have no prior experience with OLED, the technical differences feel a bit abstract to me. What do you guys think?
